About the book (and me) |
|
A little about Issi.
Issi’s is a collection of short stories ranging from a different angle on the story of Jesus and his apostles, through tales of love found and lost, fading memories, unusual talent and, finally, murder and its consequences. There are twelve stories, ten quite short, one slightly longer and ‘Ping Pong’ which is about novelette size. The book has received positive responses from readers and critics (click Reviews Etc. Tab) and is available at various on-line book stores (click Links Tab). I guess the Issi story is a hot topic right now, with Jeffrey Archer, among others, coming out with variations on the bible stories. If you read Issi, remember that you got the story there first! |

A little about me. I was born, raised and educated in Dublin, Ireland. I was a computer 'geek' for twenty years during which I became involved with the international moving industry. We moved to the US in 1984 (for two years) and are still here. We became US citizens in 1996. I work as a consultant in international moving, which fascinated me from the moment I made contact with it. I started writing in 2003 and Issi's is the first tangible result of my efforts - although one of the stories, 'Kiss and Tell', made the cut at the Fish Publishing short story contest (but did not place). I am working on what I hope will become a novel and several other short stories. |
